EnANPAD 2025 will be held in Aracaju and will focus on sustainability in management

July – September 2025 Edition | Volume 5, Issue 3

The city of Aracaju, Sergipe, will host the 49th ANPAD Annual Meeting (EnANPAD 2025) from October 1 to 3, 2025. The event will be held in person at Tiradentes University (UNIT), Farolândia Campus, bringing together researchers, professors, and graduate students in Administration and related fields from across Brazil and abroad.

With over four decades of tradition, EnANPAD is one of the most prestigious conferences in the field in Brazil. Annually attracting around 2,000 participants, it is recognized as a privileged space for academic debate, knowledge exchange, and peer-to-peer interaction. Over its history, the event has welcomed more than 30,000 participants, maintaining its commitment to scientific excellence and fostering meaningful dialogue across diverse areas of Administration research.

The theme of the 2025 meeting is “Sustainability in Management: Recognizing Identities, Local Experiences, and Global Challenges.” The conference aims to reflect on the limits of universal management models in light of local specificities and the multiple crises that contemporary organizations face. This year’s location in the Brazilian Northeast adds special relevance to the discussion, underscoring the role of territories as spaces for developing innovative strategies to address uncertainties, asymmetries, and inequalities. EnANPAD 2025 proposes a management approach rooted in local realities while simultaneously engaging with global demands and objectives.

One of the highlights of the program is the second edition of EnANPAD Profissional, an initiative dedicated to presenting technical-technological products (TTPs). These products represent tangible results of applied research with high levels of innovation and will be showcased in person on October 2 and 3. The initiative reinforces ANPAD’s commitment to innovation and to valuing practical solutions developed within professional graduate programs.

The opening ceremony will take place on the evening of October 1 at the AM Malls Events Center. During the ceremony, awards will be presented for the best paper in each Academic Division, the best TTP, and the main prize of the meeting: the Emerald Award for Best EnANPAD Paper, which also includes a cash prize. Following the ceremony, participants are invited to the opening cocktail reception, also at AM Malls. This edition will not include the usual no-host Dinner, and the celebration will be open to the entire community.

After the activities on day 02, the Divisions and Interest Groups meetings will take place, including awards sessions for each division and discussions on topics relevant to each area.

The scientific program features paper presentations, roundtables, and keynote lectures with distinguished national and international guests. Keynote sessions are among the highlights of the event, and attendees are encouraged to participate not only in their own division’s sessions but also in other activities to expand their perspectives and foster interdisciplinary connections.
