ANPAD’s journals, Journal of Contemporary Administration (RAC) and Brazilian Administration Review (BAR) have long been pillars in promoting knowledge both in Brazil and internationally. This excellence is due to the outstanding professionals behind these publications. Since 2021, Professor Marcelo de Souza Bispo and Professor Ivan Lapuente Garrido, editors-in-chief of RAC and BAR, respectively, have ensured the dissemination of high-quality, innovative work to the academic community.
Professor Marcelo de Souza Bispo holds a PhD in Administration from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Kentucky (USA). He is a professor of the Department of Administration of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), is currently the coordinator and professor of the Graduate Program in Administration (PPGA/UFPB), and teaches in the Graduate Program in Sociology (PPGS/UFPB). He was a member of the Scientific Committee for Organizational Studies at ANPAD from 2018 to 2020 and led Theme 4, Ontology, Epistemologies, Theories, and Methodologies in Organizational Studies, from 2015 to 2017.
Professor Ivan Lapuente Garrido, the editor-in-chief of BAR, holds a PhD in Administration from UFRGS and completed post-doctoral studies at the Florida International University. He is currently a professor in the Academic Graduate Program in Administration and the Professional Graduate Program in Management and Business at Unisinos in Rio Grande do Sul.
