SciBiz Conference 2025 brings together science, innovation, and business in São Paulo

From June 16th to 18th, São Paulo will host the 8th edition of the SciBiz Conference, one of the leading events in Latin America dedicated to connecting science, innovation, and business. The conference will take place at the International Diffusion Center (CDI), at the University of São Paulo (USP), bringing together researchers, startups, investors, companies, and public sector representatives to promote the advancement of deeptech technologies and the development of sustainable solutions to major global challenges. 

The full schedule — already available on the official website — features lectures, panels, workshops, and networking opportunities with national and international experts, including representatives from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). 

Two key moments stand out on the first day: 

• Opening Session – June 16th at 9:00 AM
  The conference will officially begin with the participation of authorities and special guests, including Minister Márcio França, who will speak about public policies aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Brazil. 

• Inaugural Lecture – CEPID BRIDGE & SciBiz Panel
  Right after the opening, Carlos Nobre, scientist and professor at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IEA-USP), will deliver the inaugural lecture titled “The Amazon and the Search for Solutions to Avoid the Point of No Return”, offering important reflections on sustainability and science.
