The Academy of Management is the preeminent professional association for management and organization scholars. Their worldwide members are professors and Ph.D. students in business schools at universities, academics in related social science and other fields, and practitioners who value knowledge creation and application. Founded in 1936, their global community today is nearly 18,000 strong and spans over 120 countries. AOM’s mission is to build a vibrant and supportive community of scholars by markedly expanding opportunities to connect and explore ideas. AOM’s vision is that “we inspire and enable a better world through our scholarship and teaching about management and organizations.”

The International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM) is a federative organization whose members are management-related scholarly associations. It is a registered international non-profit association. IFSAM strives to be the United Nations of academies of management around the world, to be the worldwide policy body in management research, teaching, and practice. As stated in IFSAM’s statutes: The objectives of the Federation shall be the development of management research and teaching as a unified science and its advancement in all nations of the world.
ANPAD is a member of IFSAM since 2016. In 2021, ANPAD alongside the British Academy of Management (BAM) signed the Incorporation Deed of IFSAM as an ABSL in Belgium as the founding members of the federation.
The European Academy of Management (EURAM) is a professional community of engaged management scholars and reflective practitioners – open, inclusive, international, and cross-cultural. It was founded in 2001 and it is a registered international non-profit association with scientific and pedagogical objectives, and its head office is in Brussels, Belgium. It aims at advancing the academic field of management in Europe, enhancing the quality of research, improving its relevance for responsible and effective practice, and contributing to the social and political discourse on management. With members from 60 countries in Europe and beyond, EURAM has a high degree of diversity and provides its members with opportunities to enrich debates over a variety of research management themes and traditions.

The Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science (Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência − SBPC) is a nonprofit organization with no political association, focused on promoting scientific and technological advances and furthering education and culture in Brazil. Since its establishment in 1948, it has been playing a key role in expanding and enhancing Brazil’s science and technology system, in addition to making science public and more popular all over the Country. Based in São Paulo, the SBPC also operates in all other Brazilian states through Regional Offices. The organization represents approximately 140 scientific societies and over 5,000 active members, including researchers, professors, students, and Brazilian individuals who are interested in science and technology.
ANPAD is a member of SBPC since 2021.
The Alliance of Management Development Associations in Rising Economies (Alliance) is intended to serve Business Schools located in rising economies through their regional member organizations. It is a network of associations, schools, deans, faculty members, alumni, and students in rising economies that augments the offerings of regional associations and their member schools, and accelerates the growth of relevant and excellent management education in the global markets that need it most
