Retrospective of the 16th Congress – IFSAM

October – December 2022 Edition | Volume 2, Issue 4

The International Federation of Scholarly Association of Management (IFSAM) biennial conference of 2022, the 16th Congress – IFSAM, was held as a pre-conference activity of EnANPAD 2022. It was a success and contributed to IFSAM’s mission to advance management, research, education, and practice across the world.

The event featured six round tables to discuss current topics related to administration, such as the role of technological changes in teaching, the challenges of open science, the importance of assessing the social impact of research, and models of cooperation with management practice. In addition, the IFSAM awards winners were announced and spoke about their achievements.

The ANPAD community was strongly present at the congress, representing more than 50% of the participants. The 16th Congress, held entirely online, allowed participants worldwide to attend the three days of the congress according to their availability.

The congress achieved high levels of satisfaction among participants. Among the respondents to the satisfaction survey, around 90% were highly satisfied with the round tables they attended. The discussions were so interesting that 20% of the participants wanted more time for Q&A. The conference net promoter score (NPS) was 100, with over 90% of survey participants indicating they would attend the event again.

In general, 67% of the participants considered that the congress provided knowledge about essential areas for defining public and private policies related to research, education, and practice in administration. Many also liked contacting authorities and experts on specific topics (54%) and obtaining an international view on these themes (46%).

Nowadays, with so many online congresses and webinars, receiving feedback like this shows the quality of the 16th Congress – IFSAM. We hope to count on your participation in the 2024 edition!

See you there!
