At the 120th Ordinary General Assembly, held on April 30, 2024, ANPAD officially established a new membership category: Individual Member Emeritus. This membership recognizes and pays tribute to professors and researchers who, throughout their careers, have made significant contributions to the growth and development of the fields of administration, accounting, and related disciplines. In addition to being influential voices in the scientific community, these professionals have also played leadership roles and actively participated in discussions and events organized by ANPAD.
The title is automatically granted to two main groups: those who received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Executive Board during ANPAD’s Annual Meetings (EnANPAD) and senior professors whose contributions and leadership have earned them recognition as authorities in their respective fields. The title is awarded exclusively by the ANPAD Executive Board in recognition of the impact and relevance of their work in academia.
Other professors and researchers can apply for the title, provided they meet specific criteria. These include being over 65 years of age, having at least 20 years of experience in graduate programs, and a history of active participation in ANPAD events and governance. Contributions required for qualification include service as members of the Executive Board or Scientific Committees, coordination of Academic Divisions, acting as reviewers, and contributing to publications in the annals of the organization’s events.

Those appointed as Individual Member Emeritus are entitled to a series of benefits, such as free registration for ANPAD events, a personalized certification, and lifetime membership, as well as the ability to participate in assemblies (without voting rights).
At the Opening Ceremony of the 48th ANPAD Annual Meeting (EnANPAD), the new category of Individual Member Emeritus was introduced, and the award winners for the years 2016 to 2023 were announced.
