EnANPAD 2021: Highlights of the Interdivisional Panels

Looking forward to EnANPAD 2021? So are we! EnANPAD 2021  will have several activities   that   will reflect the event’s general theme “Inequality & Diversity: Reflecting   on Inclusive   Organizations   and   Societies”. AIn addition to the pre-event with the new Professional Development   Workshops   (PDWs) and   each   Division’s keynote   presentation – with   more   than   special   guest scholars – we will have five interdivisional panels attended by international experts. To make sure that you won’t miss the highlights of this year’s   Meeting,   this   short   message   contains some information about the interdivisional panels’ topics and participants! 

 On October 4th, we will have the first interdivisional panel,   in   which   our   guest   lecturer   Rose   Dolabella   will present a north-american perspective regarding diversity   and inclusion into action. She is a diversity, inclusion and recruitment   strategy   consultant,   has   been   working   in this area for over six years, and has more than 15 years of experience in the Human Resources area at a leading energy company in North America. We’ll also count on Prof. Bruno Henrique Rocha Fernandes from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR) as the moderator.  

The  second  interdivisional  panel,  “Leading Inclusive Organizations and Societies”, Will take place on October 5th. Mediated by Prof. Maria Tereza Leme Fleury (FGV/EAESP, Brazil)   and   Juliana Costa de Carvalho (FGV/EBAPE,Brazil Prof. Quinetta Roberson (current President   of   the   Academy   of Management, AOM, and Professor   of Management and Psychology at Michigan State   University, USA) will explore leadership mindsets, behaviors   and   frameworks aimed at facilitating inclusive experiences and creating dynamic, supportive societies and organizations.  

The   third   interdivisional panel,   “Building Impactful Research: The Case of SEED Network” will be held on October   6th.   Prof. Luciano   Barin   Cruz (HEC Montréal, Canada), Prof.   Charlene   Zietsma (Pennsylvania   State   University, USA), Prof. Angelique Slade Shantz (University of Alberta, Canada) and   PhD   candidate   Kylie   Heales   (University of Alberta, Canada) Will debate the topic. 

In the morning of October 7th, Prof. Virginia Bodolica, from the American University of Sharjah (UAE), will lead a   presentation   sponsored   by   Emerald   Publishing. The presentation   will   revolve   around   “Emerald’s   Emerging Markets Case Studies Collection: A guide to case writing and publication”. 

 In the afternoon of October 7th, the “Panel with Editors”will be mediated by Prof. Gazi Islam from Grenoble École de Management (France), current co-editor of the Journal of Business Ethics. The panel will convene Prof. Susan Miller, from Arizona State University (USA) and Associate Editor of the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory (JPART), Prof. Renate Meyer, from the University of Economics and Business WU Vienna (Austria) and Editor-in-Chief of the Organization Studies, and Prof. Sherry Thatcher, from Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina (USA) and Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Review.
