The year 2026 is a milestone for the academic and professional community associated with the Brazilian Academy of Management (ANPAD). As the organization celebrates its 50th anniversary, a history forged through the convergence of programs, people, and ideas, the occasion will be honored with a calendar full of events, ANPAD Proficiency Test editions, assemblies, and Election meeting. Throughout the year, a variety of online activities and institutional initiatives will further the festivities across multiple fronts.
Below is an overview of the main dates and events scheduled for the year.
ANPAD Proficiency Test 2026 — Four dates confirmed
The ANPAD Test is a proficiency exam established in 1987 by ANPAD to standardize the selection process for candidates applying to graduate programs in administration, accounting, and related fields across Brazil. Currently, more than 200 programs use the test in their admissions processes.
Since 2020, the exam has been administered exclusively online, reducing travel costs and expanding access for participants nationwide. Results remain valid for up to two years, allowing the same score to be used in different selection processes – an important advantage for those still deciding which program or institution to pursue.

Divisional Conferences 2026 — FGV-EAESP, São Paulo 
The first major in-person event of the year brings together three meetings of ANPAD’s Divisions and Interest Groups, held concurrently:
These events will take place at FGV-EAESP, in São Paulo (SP), from June 9 to 11, 2026.
Submissions for the ANPAD 2026 Divisional Conferences have closed, and registration for participation will open on April 10, 2026.

Pre-EnANPAD and Doctoral Consortium — September 9 and 10, 2026
On September 9 and 10, 2026, ANPAD will host two free online conferences before its annual meeting (EnANPAD).
Pre-EnANPAD: a series of thematic panels related to the main theme of EnANPAD 2026, open to the entire academic and professional community.
XXIII ANPAD Doctoral Consortium: a space for collaborative knowledge development aimed at doctoral students from graduate programs in administration, accounting, and related fields, regardless of whether their programs are ANPAD members. Established in 2003 by Professor Henrique Freitas (PPGA/UFRGS), with initial coordination by Professor Edi Madalena Fracasso (PPGA/UFRGS), the consortium draws on international experiences in doctoral education. Now in its 23rd edition, the initiative seeks to support thesis development and strengthen partnership networks among individuals and institutions.
Doctoral students interested in submitting thesis proposals to the Doctoral Consortium should consult the call for proposals and instructions on the ANPAD website.
EnANPAD 2026 — 50th ANPAD Annual Meeting | Fortaleza, September 23-25
The 50th ANPAD Meeting (EnANPAD 2026) will be held in person at the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR) from September 23 to 25, 2026.
Held continuously for five decades, the EnANPAD is one of the leading conferences in the fields of administration, accounting, and related areas, bringing together researchers, reviewers, authors, panelists, and international guests.
The theme of this edition will be: “ANPAD 50 years: rethinking, reinventing, and reimagining administrative, accounting, and related sciences” – a forward-looking statement oriented toward the next 50 years of research in administration in Brazil.

ANPAD Elections 2026 — Triennium 2027–2029
In 2026, ANPAD will hold elections for the Board of Directors and the Chairs of the Divisions for the 2027–2029 triennium. The general election notice was published in March 2026 and is available through ANPAD’s official channels. A specific notice regarding the elections for the Chairs of the Divisions will be released shortly.
