ANPAData: Tool for Analyzing Academic and Professional Paths in Graduate Programs in Administration

April – June 2025 Edition | Volume 5, Issue 2

ANPAData is a free digital tool created to offer reliable information on the performance and academic and professional paths of alumni from ANPAD-associated programs and ANPAD Proficiency Test participants. The initiative aims to expand ANPAD’s transparency process regarding the potential impacts of graduate programs and provide relevant support for evidence-based decision-making.

The tool results from a partnership between ANPAD and researchers from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). It provides detailed data on the formal job market, education, and academic productivity. This information is collected and organized using complex algorithms and data sources, such as the CNPq Lattes Platform and the Annual Social Information Report (RAIS).

All data is anonymized and organized to protect personal privacy and prevent the identification of individuals. The way content is presented keeps a minimum level of aggregation, enabling both static and dynamic analyses of the target audience: alumni of Administration graduate programs.

The tool offers four main navigation tabs:

  • ANPAD Proficiency Test Participant Profile

Provides data and analysis of participants’ demographic characteristics and test performance by the Brazilian state where the test was administered.

  • Academic Profile

Combines academic indicators for both individuals who participated and did not participate in the ANPAD Proficiency Test, based on demographic characteristics. It includes data on the patterns of admission and completion of graduate programs (major areas) and their educational institutions, as well as details of scientific production and participation in academic events.

  • Labor Market

This tab allows for analyzing formal labor market indicators of ANPAD Proficiency Test participants and non-participants based on their demographic characteristics, such as employment trends, job types, and other employment relationship features.

  • Job Market vs. Academic Profile

It combines data on the job market and academic performance of ANPAD Proficiency Test participants and non-participants, enabling comparative analyses of professional and academic indicators across individuals with different educational levels.

ANPAData represents an important effort to understand the medium- and long-term behaviors of academic and professional careers, contributing to the continued development of graduate studies in Brazil.

Visit the ANPAData page to learn more about the educational background, scientific production, and employment data of graduates from ANPAD-associated programs and ANPAD Proficiency Test participants.
