ANPAD Doctoral Consortium: A free online event for doctoral students in the field of Administration

April – June 2025 Edition | Volume 5, Issue 2

Created in 2003 by Professor Henrique Freitas and initially coordinated by Professor Edi Madalena Fracasso, the ANPAD Doctoral Consortium was inspired by the French experience to offer a structured space for dialogue and qualified listening among doctoral students and researchers. Since then, it has been an important forum for academic development in the fields of Administration, Accounting, and related fields.

Intended exclusively for doctoral students, the Doctoral Consortium promotes the exchange of knowledge and the improvement of dissertation projects through discussion sessions led by experienced faculty and researchers. The Consortium values the epistemological, institutional, and methodological diversity, fostering an academic culture based on cooperation, respectful listening, and the collective strengthening of scientific knowledge.

The Consortium’s structure encompasses different stages of the academic trajectory, with participation options geared toward both early-stage proposals and more advanced research. This organization seeks to meet the multiple training needs of doctoral students while fostering the development of research skills and broadening the theoretical and methodological horizons of ongoing work.

The 2025 edition will be held entirely online and free of charge, on September 17 and 18, coordinated by Professor Luis Felipe Machado do Nascimento (UFRGS) and Professor Lilian Caporlingua Giesta Cabral (UFERSA). The event is part of ANPAD Annual Meeting – EnANPAD 2025, which has the theme “Sustainability in Management: Recognizing Identities, Local Experiences, and Global Challenges,” and will continue its traditional goal of fostering a space for productive exchange, supporting doctoral thesis development, and enhancing research training.

Session times, presentation topics, and participation links will be announced soon on the event website.
