ANPAD Conferences: A Space to Dialogue, Train, and Encourage Scientific Production

April – June 2025 Edition | Volume 5, Issue 2

The ANPAD Conferences are a joint initiative of the offices of the Scientific Director, Susana Carla Farias Pereira, and the Director of Communication and Publications, Patricia Guarnieri. The initiative emerged in response to the growing demand for spaces for dialogue, training, and in-depth exploration of key topics for those conducting research in graduate programs in administration and related fields.

Held online, the conferences bring together national and international researchers, editors, and guests, aiming to promote accessible, relevant, and current debates. The focus is on strengthening academic production, improving scientific writing skills, and expanding understanding of editorial processes.

The conferences take place in two main formats:

The Editors Conference focuses on discussing topics related to scientific publishing, such as the editorial process, editorial evaluation criteria, theoretical contributions, the use of artificial intelligence in science, and best practices for submitting articles.

The Research Conference, on the other hand, aims to enhance projects and studies, addressing methodological tools, pathways for developing robust research, and academic writing strategies. This modality has a broader scope and has featured editions promoted by both ANPAD and its Divisions and Interest Groups. This collaboration plays a strategic role, as it enriches the discussions with the diversity of topics and contributions that each division offers to the community.

The conferences are announced throughout the year, according to the agendas and interests of the scientific community. Each edition is designed to support scientific production with technical content and reflections applicable to academic practice.

More than a one-off initiative, these conferences represent a strategy for strengthening scientific research, connecting theoretical reflections and practical applicability in light of contemporary academic demands.
