Elsevier Finance Conference: Last days for submitting papers

The highly anticipated Elsevier Finance Conference is approaching, and you can’t miss the opportunity to ensure that your research takes part! The event, which will take place in person between November 16 and 18 at the FGV EBAPE campus in Rio de Janeiro, is the result of a partnership between ANPAD (Brazilian Academy of Management), the Brazilian Accounting Association, UERJ (Rio de Janeiro State University) and IBEFA (International Banking, Finance and Economics Association). Registration for submitting papers will be open until August 31, 2023, via the Elsevier website.  

The conference will partner with fifteen journals, providing a variety of publication opportunities. In addition, the program will include a variety of activities, including:   

• Academic lectures;  
• Lectures by Prof. Murillo Campello and Prof. Brian Lucey;   
• Article Development Workshops (PDW);  
• Various publishing options with fifteen partner journals and special editions;   
• Mentoring opportunities with one-to-one meetings with senior academics;   

• Editors’ Workshop and Elsevier representatives on “How to write great articles and get published”;  
• A Pitching Research Competition, with a total prize of at least 12,500 dollars, where participants present their research directly to the editors;  
• And not least, plenty of opportunities for networking and valuable connections!
