Call for Papers: Submissions for the XXV Brazilian Finance Meeting Open Until March 23rd

The XXV Brazilian Finance Meeting, organized by the Brazilian Society of Finance (SBFin), will take place from July 24th to 26th, 2025, at the Institute of Education and Research (Insper) in São Paulo (SP). Recognized as the most relevant academic event in the financial sector in Brazil, the meeting will feature panel discussions, lectures, and academic research presentations by experts in the field, fostering debates on key topics for the advancement of finance. 

Paper submissions are open until March 23rd, 2025. Researchers from various national and international institutions can submit their papers in the following thematic areas: Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance and Banking, Financial Econometrics, Financial Engineering, and Macrofinance. Papers can be submitted in Portuguese or English and must be in PDF format. Each author may submit up to three papers, regardless of the thematic area or presentation format. 

In this edition, some of the aprroved papers may be presented in a poster format, enhancing interaction between authors and participants and enriching academic discussions. The decision on the presentation format will be announced along with the list of accepted papers. 

The event will feature distinguished international speakers, including Ian Martin (London School of Economics), Tano Santos (Columbia Business School), and José Scheinkman (Columbia University), as well as invited guests for special sessions and discussion panels with industry experts.
