The Fundação Bunge (Bunge Foundation) invites representatives of Brazil’s main universities and scientific entities to send in nominations for the 2023 Fundação Bunge Awards. The Fundação Bunge Award is one of the most important recognitions of scientific, literary, and artistic merit in the country, and its 67th edition, to be held in 2023, will honor professionals with work related to the theme Knowledge and strategies against hunger, in the Social and Human Sciences area.

The request is for two names for the Life and Work category, in which the winners will be honored by the body of their work, and two other names for the Youth category, an award aimed at young talents up to 35 years old who stand out in their fields. The award ceremony will take place in November, in São Paulo, where the winners will receive public recognition, a gold medal, and the sum of BRL$200,000 for the Life and Work category, and a silver medal and BRL$80,000 for the Youth category.

Nominations can be sent in until May 30th by representatives of the country’s main universities and scientific entities that were invited by the Foundation, and must be done online using the login and password sent by the Foundation.
