The paper “Next-Gen Marketing Insights: Human-AI Collaboration in Analytics”, co-authored by professors Ricardo Limongi and Renato Calhau, received the Building-the-Bridge Best Practical Paper Award at the AMS World Marketing Congress 2025, organized by the Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) and held from July 2nd to 4th in Dijon, France.

The award recognizes studies that address practical challenges faced by marketing professionals and offer applicable solutions through research with real-world implementation potential.

The paper is the result of Renato Calhau’s postdoctoral research, supervised by Ricardo Limongi. Both are affiliated with the Graduate Program in Administration (PPGADM) at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG).

This achievement is unprecedented: it marks the first time that researchers from Latin America have received this distinction from the Academy of Marketing Science, representing a milestone for the inclusion of Latin American scientific production in the field’s leading international forums.

Ricardo Limongi, current Editor-in-Chief of BAR – Brazilian Administration Review, the academic journal of ANPAD, gains further recognition with this award, which highlights the relevance of his work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and marketing analytics—a field of growing strategic importance for both academia and the market.

Held annually, the World Marketing Congress is considered one of the most prestigious global events in the field of marketing. Bringing together researchers from around the world, the congress is known for fostering discussions on contemporary challenges and promoting both theoretical and practical advancements in the discipline.

ANPAD congratulates the researchers on this achievement and international recognition, which reaffirms the quality and impact of scientific research developed in Brazil.
