The 36th RESER International Conference, Service Studies 2030: Advances and Challenges for Responsible Services and Resilient Societies, is now accepting paper submissions. The deadline for short paper submissions is May 5, 2026. The event will be held in Brasília (Federal District), from October 28 to 30, 2026, and will bring together academics, policymakers, public managers, entrepreneurs, and civil society representatives.
Objectives and Thematic Tracks
The conference aims to discuss theoretical and empirical advances and challenges in service studies toward 2030, with a focus on a responsible, inclusive, and sustainable vision. The event will also examine how service-led trade and integration support inclusive development, and how services can strengthen social resilience in the face of global risks.
Contributions from diverse fields are welcome — including economics, management, sociology, and law, among others — provided they relate to service studies. Submissions must fit within one of the nine thematic tracks:
Track 1 — Services as Catalysts for New Economic Paradigms
Track 2 — Transitions, Public Policy, and Public Services
Track 3 — Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Artificial Intelligence in Services
Track 4 — Services Marketing and Consumer Behavior
Track 5 — Sustainable, Circular, and Regenerative Services
Track 6 — Service Ecosystems, Collaborative Networks, Territories, and Citizen Participation
Track 7 — Culture, Arts, and Well-Being in Services
Track 8 — Inclusion, Gender, Race, and Diversity in Services
Track 9 — International Trade, Regional Integration, and Development-Oriented Services
