The Center for Research, Innovation, and Dissemination (CEPID) on the Governance of Global Environmental Change (FGVearth), based at FGV EAESP, has opened a call for three postdoctoral fellowships funded by FAPESP. The opportunities are linked to different research hubs within the center and involve activities focused on the study of global environmental change governance.
One of the fellowships is associated with the Institutions for Innovation research hub, under the supervision of Professor Susana C. F. Pereira, and focuses on the analysis of institutional conditions, such as public policies, education, science and technology, markets, and industries, that foster or constrain innovation aimed at addressing global environmental change.
Another position is linked to the Business Practices research hub, supervised by Professor Ely Paiva, and involves the analysis of corporate greenhouse gas emissions inventories in Latin America, in dialogue with themes such as corporate governance, supply chains, sustainability strategies, and socio-environmental responsibility.
The third fellowship is part of the Marketing and Consumer Behavior – Sustainable Consumption and Environmental Change research hub, under the supervision of Professor Delane Botelho, and focuses on consumer behavior and marketing strategies in the context of global environmental change. The research emphasizes sustainable and unsustainable consumption, green marketing, and public policy interventions, particularly in Brazil and Latin America.
FAPESP postdoctoral fellowships have an initial duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension for up to 36 months in total, and require fulltime dedication. Activities will be carried out in person at FGV EAESP, in São Paulo (SP), including participation in meetings, seminars, and other CEPID activities, as well as the production of scientific publications and knowledge transfer materials.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and may be of any nationality, with academic background and experience compatible with the theme of the chosen position, in accordance with FAPESP regulations for postdoctoral fellowships. Specific requirements for each position are detailed in the full calls of the respective research hubs.
The selection process will take place in two stages, consisting of a first, eliminatory phase based on the analysis of submitted documentation, followed by a second, classificatory phase with interviews of preselected candidates. Applications may be submitted until February 28th, 2026, or until the positions are filled, by sending the required materials to CEPID_GEC@fgv.br, indicating the position of interest in the subject line of the email.
