The call for papers is now open for the 15th Ibero-American Congress on Research Methodologies (CIAIQ2026), which will be held in a hybrid format. On-site activities will take place from July 14th to 16th, 2026, at the University of Málaga, Spain, while the online program will be held from July 21st to 23rd, 2026.
Recognized as a leading annual event in the Ibero-American context, CIAIQ brings together researchers and academics from diverse fields of knowledge, representing more than 20 countries. Over the years, the congress has established itself as a qualified forum for scientific dialogue, focused on methodological debates and the strengthening of international academic production.
Following previous editions with a predominant focus on qualitative research, the congress now officially adopts the designation Ibero-American Congress on Research Methodologies, reflecting the expansion and integration of different methodological perspectives. The program thus encompasses qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research, fostering multidisciplinary exchange and innovation in contemporary scientific inquiry.
The call for papers encourages the submission of research applied to a wide range of fields, including Education, Health, Social Sciences, Humanities, among others. Accepted submission types include project abstracts, full paper abstracts, proposals for discussion panels, and workshops. Presentations may be delivered in person, online through synchronous sessions, or via pre-recorded videos.
Submissions may be made in Portuguese or Spanish, with the possibility of publication in indexed journals, enhancing the visibility and impact of the research presented. The deadline for submitting paper abstracts is April 8th, 2026, while proposals for Discussion Panels and Workshops may be submitted until January 15th, 2026. CIAIQ2026 thus represents an opportunity to share scientific results with a diverse and highly qualified international audience.
