The Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP) is now accepting applications for the International Postdoctoral Program (IPP) 2025, an opportunity designed for PhD holders from various fields seeking an advanced, interdisciplinary research experience.

Since its founding in 2016, the IPP has excelled in training young researchers, encouraging them to explore topics beyond their areas of specialization and broadening their perspectives on the major challenges facing contemporary societies. The program is coordinated by Professors Maria Hermínia Tavares de Almeida and Vera Schattan Ruas Pereira Coelho, with the support of experienced researchers from CEBRAP’s Research Nuclei.

The IPP 2025 will select up to 10 researchers whose interests align with those of CEBRAP’s Research Nuclei. The program lasts two years, with the possibility of a one-year extension, and does not offer its own fellowships but supports applications for external fellowships such as FAPESP and CNPq.

One of the program’s advantages is the possibility of remote participation, allowing researchers from other regions of Brazil and abroad to fulfill all IPP requirements without the need to be in São Paulo.

For those interested in learning more about the IPP and ongoing research, CEBRAP will hold an Open Seminar on December 12, 2024, at 9:45 AM, where the final works of some program researchers will be presented. The event will be held in a hybrid format, in person at CEBRAP and via Zoom. To participate remotely, please request the link by emailing postdoc@cebrap.org.br.

More information about the application process and program details is available on the official IPP page on the CEBRAP website.
