The Brazilian Administration Review (BAR) is now accepting submissions for the special issue of the journal. Papers may be written in Portuguese or English and must be submitted by August 13, 2023, through the ScholarOne Manuscripts website. The main theme of the special issue is “Coopetition”.
Coopetition involves firms interacting with two contradictory logics – competition and cooperation. The term alludes to a cycle of creation and appropriation of value that can generate benefits such as firms’ competitive advantages, cost reduction, access to resources and knowledge, expansion of customer base, etc. Overall, coopetition can be an effective business strategy for companies looking to achieve mutual benefits through combining competitive and cooperative relationships.
The call is organized by Professors Dr. Jefferson Marlon Monticelli (University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos, School of Management and Business, Brazil), Dr. Emilene Leite (Örebro University School of Business, Sweden), Dr. Adriana Fumi Chim Miki (Federal University of Campina Grande, Graduate Program in Management, Brazil) and BAR’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Ivan Lapuente Garrido (University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos, School of Management and Business, Brazil).
